COOKING CONDENSED



Please Come To:      An informational series on cooking related adventures.   This is a small class
                             discussion and demonstration,led by Verdigris Tea’s own baker, Regina Simmons.

2 BAKE or NOT 2 BAKE
 
Sat. 4/14 – The Universal Mixscones, muffins, quick breads, buckwheat super scones, vegan gingerbread.

Sat. 4/21 – The Smart Cookieseeded oak crackers, pecorino/romano wafers, wheat-free cookies.

Sat. 4/28 – Dough-See-Doughbasic bread dough, enriched multi-grain variations, rolls, braids, loaves, and innovative sandwich spreads.

Please join our wonderful Regina Simmons and learn the basics in 2 BAKE OR NOT 2 BAKE.  Classes focus on a variety of “basic mixes” that home cooks can use to create several different kinds of baked goods.  Each topic is covered in a one-hour class that includes demonstrations and discussion.  Finished products, often from the display case in the store, will be served to those enrolled.  Best of all, no baking is done during the class!  You’re free to take notes, ask questions and, of course, sample the food.  Participants take home recipes for all the baked goods discussed during the class.
 
Classes are from 10 – 11am at
Verdigris Tea   135 Warren Street in Hudson

Regina is a Culinary Institute graduate, who had her own restaurant,Scheff’s Kitchen,
in Clermont, before joining Verdigris Tea in 2007.
